Exciting Happenings

This past weekend I spent it in San Diego. I attended Comic Con on Saturday. I got three Emily The Strange comic books signed by the artists and writer, which I was really excited about. They also drew in my boyfriend's sketchbook which I took pictures of.
Tokidoki had a booth and the creator was there whose name is Simone. Unfortunately I got there too late and wasn't able to get tickets for his signing. I did manage to get a couple pictures of him. I wasn't able to go Sunday, but my boyfriend did go and I asked him to get my Tokidoki purse signed and he did! The artist signed and sketched the inside of my purse! I also went to a costume designers forum which was really interesting. Some of the designers worked on movies like The Matrix, and upcoming movies like the new Terminator movie and the Watchmen. I spoke to one of them afterwards and asked for some advice.
I took a few pictures of people dressed up as their favorite characters, Comic Con is like Halloween. In my past post I had mentioned I entered a contest and I won the logo contest! I'm so happy, it was a collaboration between my boyfriend and I. My logo is going to be on merchandise! Yeah.
I got more news, I got a gig as a writer on bellydancingdiva.com. It's a new site, but you should check it out for my upcoming articles.
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

OMG! The Emily the Strange writer is adorable! I remember my favorite jacket in high school was a black Emily The Strange jacket with kitty ears. The day the zipper broke, so did my heart! =/ Ugh... I'm still not entirely over it. LOL.

Your signed tokidoki bag is cute! His little drawing is adorable. And I loved the Sims costume! The jewel hats are brilliant!

I want to go to a Comic Con one day!

the man in black with the woman in green I think they're Batman and Poison Ivy, who was played by Uma Thurman in the movie!

That's a really cool sketch on the inside of your purse. I've always wanted to go to Comic con; looks like a big runway of the costume variety.
