Target

I went to Target this morning before school started and I was looking in their sale rack and I found this cute top. It has that ethnic flare with bold prints on the bottom and on the sleeves. It is perfect for the summer, it feels so breezy. It was originally on sale for $17.99 and it was reduced to $4.48! Now that's a good price. Target always has good prices, but even better, once it's on the sale rack! Don't be afraid to look in the sales section, some might be out of season, but you can always mix and match it with other items you have in your closet or you can even add embellishments to it to make it your own. Happy sales hunting ; )

Inspiration

About five years or so ago, someone had made an impact on me. My boyfriend and I went to a dance show in downtown San Diego. We went to go see a troupe by the name of Urban Tribal, a belly dance troupe located in San Diego. They're dancing was amazing! They had a guest dancer named Rachel Brice, who is now known the world over. I'd have never been so inspired by someone before. Her beautiful dancing and her passion was felt in everyone. I had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times. Her passion and dedication touched me and I completely fell in love with the dance form. I'm writing this so we can share what inspires us and why, please share your stories. Enjoy her video.

Buying Vintage

I went to a local antique shop this morning and found this super cute blouse. It is a Penny Potter original, I tried looking for her online, but no sign of Penny Potter. It was on sale for $30 and it was 20% off! Good deal. This blouse is vintage it may have been made in the 30's or 40's, if someone knows please correct me. What I like about this blouse are the sleeves. They're see through and they're kind of puffy, I can't wait to wear it. I'm going to pair it with some skinny jeans, some pearls and a pair of black victorian inspired heels. Remember, don't be afraid of going into a consignment store, you might find some really cool things. Vintage is always in style. Take a look at the picture.

Introduction

Hello everyone! This will be my first post, I know some of you have been waiting for me to post, I'm near finals week and I have a couple of papers due next month, you all know how it is. As soon as the semester is over I will start blogging and loading pictures. I will try to do it once a week. I work for a swimwear line. As the summer nears, work will be hectic. I will add pictures of fashion and please comment on the blog posts and tell me what you think. I hope to get to know you guys, See ya on the posts : )
